Welcome To IPA Site: Meet Our Team
Anthony Astone, President
After graduating from San Jose State University in 1991, I took my first job in the insurance industry as a entry level property adjuster for one of the large insurance companies. Over the next 17 years I worked my way up the position of Executive General Adjuster where I handled multi-million dollar commercial and residential property claims throughout the United States. At one point I was a Property Claim Manager for 3 years overseeing 9 adjusters who specialized in Mold and Special Investigative property claims.
In 2008 I crossed the fence to become a Public Adjuster and in 2012 started Independence Public Adjusters, Inc. with my partner Steve Boydstun. My 17 years of experience working for the insurance companies provides me with the insight and knowledge to be one step ahead of the insurance adjusters that I now face on a daily business. As they say, the best way to beat the opposition is to know the opposition. Combined with my 6 years as a Public Adjuster, I can competently and proficiently handle a wide range of small and large residential and commercial claims to the satisfaction of our Clients with the goal of maximizing each recovery.
When Steve and I started the IPA we swore to ourselves that we would follow two rules:
1) If we do the right thing for our Clients, the money will come. Put the Clients needs first at all times.
2) Deliver Nordstrom Service to our Clients at all times.
Steve and I strongly believe in the two objectives above and we constantly remind ourselves to stay true to our promise to our Clients.

Some of Our Happy Customers:
After the church was vandalized, we spent over two months trying to get our insurance company to pay our claim. Within six weeks of hiring IPA we received a settlement of over four times the amount that was originally offered by our insurance company.

Not only did they secure for me what was due on the insurance company; but they exceed my expectations in every way. Tony and Steve are A-1 professionals and awesome individuals; extremely helpful. I can’t say good enough for IPA. It was heaven sent to me. And I could keep going……..and going…….thank you!!!
I would recommend IPA to anyone having problems with payment and resolution of insurance claim matters. Only regret I have is that i didn’t hire IPA in the beginning.
